OkCupid profiles are disappearing all of a sudden. I’ve been seeing this trend on my Facebook and Twitter feed as well. It’s not clear why, but it seems like the site is no longer keeping track of user data or tracking user activity. There are a few possible reasons for this: either OkCupid is moving away from the free service or they’re just getting rid of some of the more popular profiles to make way for more personalized content and ads. But whatever the reason, it’s definitely a shame because users who put in the time and effort to create good OkCupid profiles can lose them all quickly.
