If you’re like most people, you probably delete your Yahoo email account when you move or change jobs. But if you’re like me, you may also delete it if you decide to stop using Yahoo for some reason. Yahoo is a great company and I have used it for years, but I decided last year to stop using it because of the privacy issues. I don’t know about you, but I’m not comfortable with how Yahoo is handling my personal information. So what happens if you delete your Yahoo email account? Well, depending on your situation, there may be a few things that happen. If you’re a user of the webmail service Hotmail, then your account might be deleted automatically when you log in or change accounts. If you use Yahoo’s Messenger service, then your messages might be lost forever and never delivered to anyone else. And if all of that sounds like too much trouble, well… then there’s the option of just not using Yahoo at all.
