If you’re like most people, you use your Hotmail account for all sorts of things: checking your email, sending and receiving messages, and keeping in touch with friends and family. But what happens when you delete your Hotmail account? Well, first of all, if you’ve been using Hotmail for a while it can be a bit of a pain to set up a new account. You might have to enter your login information again, or find an alternate email address. And if you’re using Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail instead of Hotmail, those programs won’t work with the new account. But the biggest downside is that you lose all the messages that were sent to your old Hotmail address.
