If you’re an Uber driver and have a number that’s been registered with the ride-sharing company, it’s time to unregister your number. Uber requires drivers to register their numbers with the company in order to continue driving. If you don’t register your number, you may not be able to renew your driver’s license or get a new one. You also may not be able to get a job as a Uber driver because Uber requires drivers to have their numbers registered with the company. To unregister your number from Uber, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your account and click on the “Unregister Number” button at the top of the page. This will take you to a page where you can enter your information.
  2. In the “Name” field, enter something that sounds like an easy name for yourself (like John). For example, if you’re named John Doe, enter “John Doe.” In the “Phone Number” field, enter something that looks like an easy phone number (like 555-555-1212). For example, if your phone number is 555-555-1212, enter “123456.” In the “Email Address” field, enter something that sounds like an easy email address (like john@emailaddress). For example, if you’ve entered john@emailaddress into the email address field and click on submit, your information will be sent back to Uber and you’ll be able to continue driving without having to unregister your number.
