If you want to delete your Facebook account but still keep your Instagram account, there’s a way to do it. First, head to Facebook and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. From here, select Settings and then Account Settings. On the next page, under “Your Facebook Account,” click on Deactivate Your Account. Now go to Instagram and sign in with your same username and password. Underneath your profile picture, you’ll see a link that says “Unlink This Account from Facebook.” Click on this link and confirm that you want to delete your Facebook account.
