If you’re like most people, you probably use email to stay in touch with friends and family. But if you’re like me, you may also be using email to keep track of important work or personal matters. If you’re like me, the last thing you want is to have to turn off your email account every time you want to use it. That’s why I’ve put together a guide on how to turn off email on your iPhone.
- Open the Settings app and select the General tab.
- Under Email, select the check box next to “Turn off email when I’m not using it.”
- Click OK and close the Settings app.
- Open your favorite email client and click on the “Accounts” button at the top left corner of the screen.
- In the Accounts section, click on “Email.”
- In the Email Preferences window, select “Never turn off my email account” and click on OK.
