If you’re like most people, you take screenshots of your computer screen to capture a moment or two for later use. But if you’re like me, you also take screenshots to share with others on social media or to document what’s going on on your computer. There are a few things you can do to turn a screenshot into a JPEG file on your Mac. First, open the Photos app and click the screenshot thumbnail in the top left corner. Then, select the Format button and choose JPEG from the drop-down list. Next, open up an image editor such as Photoshop or GIMP and create a new file called “Screenshot_1.jpg.” Paste the contents of the “Screenshot_2.jpg” file into the new file and click OK to close both files. Now, when you take a screenshot on your Mac, it will save as a JPEG instead of just an image file!
