If you’re a video player like VLC, you can take a screenshot of a video by pressing the “Screenshots” button on the main screen. This will take a screenshot of the current video and save it to your clipboard. You can then paste this screenshot into another text editor or website to share with others.
Use the built-in screen capture feature in Mac OS X. Use an app called “Snagit” on Mac OS X or Windows. Use an app called “ShareX” on Windows.
