If you’re like most people, you probably post pictures of your day on Instagram Stories. But if you’re like me, you probably don’t save all of your audio from those stories. Why? Because it’s just too darn inconvenient to keep track of where each audio file is and how to get it back. Luckily, there are a few ways to save audio from Instagram Stories without having to keep track of where it’s stored or how to get it back. Here are three tips:

  1. Use the “Save Audio As” option in the “Photos” section of your Instagram account and select a filename that you’ll remember.
  2. If you use the app on a computer, open Instagram Story and click on the “Audio” tab at the top left corner. Then select “Save Audio As” and enter a filename that you’ll remember.
  3. If you use the app on an iPhone or iPad, open Story and tap on the “Audio” tab at the top left corner. Then select “Save Audio As.”
