If you’re like most people, you take screenshots of important moments in your life to remember them for later. But if you’re like me, you don’t have a lot of space on your hard drive for all those screenshots. So how do you save a screenshot as a JPEG on Mac? There are a few ways to do this, but the easiest way is to use the Finder. First, open the Finder and click on the Go menu item. Then select “Show contents of folder.” In the resulting window, click on the screenshot thumbnail to reveal its location in your hard drive. Next, open up an image editor such as Photoshop or Illustrator and create a new document that’s about twice as large as your original screenshot. In Photoshop, select “File > New > Image.” In Illustrator, select “File > New > Vector.” Once you’ve created your new document, drag and drop the screenshot thumbnail into it. Now that your screenshot has been saved as a JPEG file, it can be used just like any other image file in Photoshop or Illustrator.
