If you’re a user of Outlook 2016, there are a few things you can do to help restore lost or corrupted emails. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Outlook 2016 Preferences dialog box.
  2. In the left pane, select the General tab.
  3. On the General tab, select the Restore Email option.
  4. In the text field, enter a brief description of what you want to do (such as restoring an email from a backup). Click on the Restore button.
  5. After Outlook 2016 restores your email, it will show you a message that says it is successful and your email will be restored in its original form and location.
