If you’ve ever deleted a user account on your Windows 7 computer, you know that it’s not as easy as just pressing the Delete key. In fact, if the user account is active, deleting it will actually remove all of the user’s files and settings. Fortunately, there’s a way to restore a deleted user account in Windows 7. The process is a bit complicated, but it’s not difficult once you know how it works. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Start by opening the Control Panel. To do this, click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
  2. Under User Accounts and Family Safety, click User Accounts.
  3. Under User Accounts, click the name of the user account you want to restore. (If you don’t see this option, the user account has already been restored.)
  4. Click Restore User Account from the menu bar at the top of the window. (If this option isn’t available, then your computer has already restored the user account.) ..
