If you want to request someone to follow you on Instagram, there are a few things you need to do first.

  1. Open up Instagram and sign in.
  2. On the left-hand side of the screen, under “Following,” click on the “Request to Follow” button.
  3. In the “Request to Follow” form, type in the person’s name and email address, and hit “Submit.”
