If you’re a business that relies on Google Maps to function, it’s important to take steps to remove yourself from the search engine results pages. Here are a few tips:
- Disable Google Maps integration in your Google account settings. This will disable the ability for Google Maps to index your business and show up in search results.
- Remove all of your maps data from Google Drive and any other storage devices associated with your business. This will prevent Google from indexing or displaying anymaps-related content in search results or on other websites.
- Delete any maps files and directories from your computer and storage devices if you’ve never used them before. This will clear out any cached data that may have been stored there since before you disabled Google Maps integration.
- Reset your computer’s settings so that they are completely blank and new maps data will be loaded automatically when you next start up the computer.
- Navigate to https://www.google.com/maps/businesscenter/ and log in with your Google account credentials.2) Under “Google My Business”, click “Edit” in the top right corner of the screen.3) If you are the sole owner of the business, select “Owner” from the drop-down menu.
