If you’re like most people, you probably have a few suggested searches in Outlook. These are the default search terms that are suggested to you when you open Outlook. If you don’t want these search terms to be suggested to you, you can disable them by changing the value of the “suggested search terms” property in your outlook.com preferences. To disable the “suggested search terms” property in your outlook.com preferences:

  1. Open Preferences and click on the “Advanced” tab.
  2. In the “Suggested search terms” field, change the value to “no.”
