If you use iCloud to store your photos, music, and other files, you may want to remove them from your Mac. This guide will show you how to do it.
- Open the Finder and click on the Apple menu (the three lines in the top left corner of the screen).
- Choose “Utilities.”
- Click on “Terminal.”
- Type “xcopy” into the Terminal window’s text field and press return.
- The Terminal window will ask for a directory to copy to. Type “~/Library/ iCloud” into the Terminal window’s text field and press return. The Terminal window will close automatically.
