If you’ve inherited an iPad that someone else used, and you don’t want to use the previous owner’s Apple ID, there are a few steps you can take. First, open the Settings app on your iPad and tap on General. Next, tap on Accounts and then tap on Add Account. Now enter in the email address of the person who you want to remove their account from the iPad (or their Apple ID if they have one), and then tap Next.
