If you have Gmail, it’s important to remember to reactivate your account. This is especially important if you’ve had your account inactive for a while and want to be able to use your email and contacts as usual. To reactivate your account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Gmail account. If you’re using an older version of Gmail, you may need to create a new user account first.
- Click on the “Accounts” tab at the top of the main screen. This will show all of your accounts, including yours and any associated Google accounts (such as YouTube or Google+, Calendar, etc.).
- Scroll down until you find “Gmail.” If it’s not there yet, click on it and then click on the “Activate Account” button at the bottom of the screen. You’ll be asked for some basic information about your account (like your name and email address). After that’s complete, you’ll be able to use your email and contacts as usual!
