Instagram is a great way to share photos and videos with friends and family, but it can be hard to know how long to keep a photo or video before deleting it. You can use a timer to help you out! To set a timer on your Instagram camera, open the app and go to the camera screen. Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. Then, tap on “Settings.” Under “General,” tap on “Timer.” You’ll see a timer icon next to “Duration.” Tap on it to set the timer. When you’re done taking your photo or video, press the button in the bottom right corner of the screen to stop the timer. If you want to keep your photo or video for longer than the time limit set by default, you can add time by tapping on “Add Time” and entering how much time you want (in seconds). Once you’ve added time, press OK to save your changes. If you want to delete a photo or video that has a timer set, just press and hold on it until it pops up with an “X” next to it.
