If you’re a GroupMe user, there’s a good chance you’ve been using the messaging service to communicate with your friends and family. But if you’d like to stop receiving messages from certain people in your group, there are a few steps you can take. To opt out of GroupMe messages, open the app and select “Notifications.” There, you’ll find a list of people who have sent you messages since your last notification was sent. Scroll down and select the person or group that you want to no longer receive messages from. Once selected, the message will be hidden from view.
