When you take a screenshot, the app or website you’re screenshotting will play the sound of that clip in the background. This can be annoying if you want to focus on what you’reScreenshoting, or if someone is trying to listen to the clip while they’re using the app or website. There are a few ways to mute the sound of screenshots. The first way is to open up System Preferences and select “Sound & Audio.” Then, under “Sound,” select “Mute Sound.” This will mute all sounds in your screenshot folder, including the sound of clips played in the background. The second way is to open up System Preferences and select “Appearance & Behavior.” Then, under “Appearance,” select “Screenshots.” Under “Screenshots,” click on the checkbox next to “Play sound when screenshot is taken.” This will play the sound of any clips in your screenshot folder when you take a screenshot.

Press the volume button on the bottom-left of the iPhone or iPad, then slide to turn down the volume. Press the home button on the bottom of the device to return to your home screen. Open Settings app and go to General > Accessibility > Hearing > Turn Screenshot Sound On/Off.
