Instagram has a feature called “Mark as Unread” which allows you to indicate that a post is not currently being viewed. This can be useful if you want to keep your posts visible but don’t want them counted as read. To mark a post as unread, follow these steps:

  1. Open Instagram and sign in.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (the one with the green checkmark).
  3. Type “unread” into one of the boxes and click on the blue “x.”
  4. The post will now be marked as unread in Instagram, and you can still view it if you want to.
