If you’re a user of Instagram, then you know that the app can be a great way to connect with friends and family. But what if someone took your account and posted something that you didn’t authorize? If this happens to you, there are a few steps that you can take to get your account back. First, go to Instagram’s website and sign in. Once you’re logged in, look for the “accounts” tab on the left-hand side of the page. Under “accounts,” click on the “user” link next to your name. This will take you to your account’s page. On this page, under “settings,” click on the “report abuse” button next to your name. This will open a dialog box where you can provide information about what happened and why it happened. After providing all of this information, Instagram will review it and decide whether or not to take action against the person whoposted your account without your permission. If Instagram decides not to take any action against the person whoposted your account, they may do so by emailing you or sending an automated message telling you that they have received reports of abuse from users of their app and that they are working on resolving these issues. If Instagram decides not to take any action against the person whoposted your account after reviewing all of this information, then they may simply delete the post without giving any further explanation or notification.
