If you’ve ever deleted a Facebook account, you know it’s not easy to get it back. In fact, if you’ve deleted your account in the past few months, there’s a good chance Facebook has already deleted it. Here are four ways to find and restore a deleted Facebook account:
- Use the “Forgot Password” feature. If you have forgotten your password, enter your email address and click “Create New Password.” Then use the new password to log in to Facebook. If you have never set up a password, Facebook will send you one when you sign up.
- Use the “Find Friends” feature. If you have forgotten your login name or password, enter your email address and click “Find Friends.” Then select the “People You Know” option and enter your friends’ names or email addresses. Click “Search.” If someone has already added their contact information to Facebook, they will appear under “People You Know.” Click on their name or profile picture to add them as a friend.
- Use Google search engine to find someone’s Facebook profile URL (the web address for their profile). For example, if John’s profile URL is www.facebook.com/johnsmith , type johnsmith into Google search engine and press Enter . You will be taken to John’s Facebook page. Click on his name or profile picture to add him as a friend.
