After you have created your certificate authority, you can use it to issue certificates for web applications and services. To download your AWS certificate, follow these steps:
- Log in to your AWS account and click on the “Sign In” button at the top of the page.
- In the “Sign In Details” section, enter your name and email address (if you have one). If you are using a different name or email address for your account, enter them in this section too.
- Click on the “Create Certificate” button at the bottom of the page. The “Create Certificate Wizard” will start automatically.
- On the “Certificate Information” screen, enter in all of the information that you need to create a new certificate for Amazon Web Services: Your name (or other unique identifier), Your email address (or other unique identifier), Your country (or other country-specific information), Your company size (or other company size-specific information), The type of security that you want to protect your application with (IEC 60950-3:2008 or IEC 60950-4:2008), The subject line of your certificate (.pem file) (.cer file) or an empty string, The type of security that you want to use with this certificate (.sig file) (.pem file) or an empty string, The path where this certificate will be stored (/usr/local/aws/certs/.certs ), The time zone that this certificate will be in (UTC+8 ), And finally,
