If you have an account on Windows 10, you may want to disable the account key. This will prevent your computer from logging in with the account key when you try to access your account online or sign in through a different method. To disable the account key, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Start menu and type “cmd”.
  2. Type “netstat -a” and press Enter.
  3. Look for the “accounts” entry and click on it.
  4. Under “type of service”, look for “ldap”. If it is not present, then your computer is using a legacy authentication system and there is no way to disable it. If it is present, then change its value to “no”. Click on the “disable” button next to the ldap entry.
