If you’re like most people, you probably don’t have a lot of control over how your houseparty account behaves. But if you want to stop your guests from joining in on your fun, there are a few steps you can take. First, open up the Settings app and select the General tab. Under the Houseparty section, make sure that “Allow Guests to Join Party” is set to “No.” If this setting is not checked, guests will be able to join in on your party without being asked first. Next, create a new party account and enter the following information: Your name (optional), email address (optional), and phone number (optional). Click save and then close the Settings app. Now that your party account is created, you’ll need to set up some rules for how it works. For example, you might want to require guests to sign in before they can join. You might also want to require them to provide their name and email address before they can start partying.
Open the Houseparty app on your phone. Tap on the three lines in the top-left corner of the screen. Scroll down and tap ‘Settings’. Tap ‘Delete Account’ and confirm by tapping ‘Yes’.
