If you’re like most people, you probably have a few old phones lying around that don’t get used anymore. Maybe you got a new phone and forgot to cancel your old account, or maybe you just don’t use your old phone anymore. In either case, it’s time to delete your Google account from your old phone. To delete your Google account from an old phone, first open the Google app on your old phone. If you don’t have the Google app installed, you can download it from the App Store or Google Play store. Once the Google app is open, tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. This will open up your settings menu. Under " Accounts & privacy ," tap on “Google.” Next, under “Google Account,” tap on “Delete account.” If you want to keep any of your data (like photos or videos) saved in Google Drive, be sure to select “Keep data stored in this account” before clicking delete. After deleting your Google account from an old phone, be sure to remove all references to it from your devices and online accounts. To do this, open up Settings on each device and look for “Google” under “Accounts & privacy.” Tap on it and then under “Google services,” uncheck all of the boxes that say “[Your name] uses [service].” ..
