If you’re like most people, Facebook and Instagram are your go-to social media platforms for sharing photos and updates. But if you want to delete your account on either platform, here’s how:

  1. Log into Facebook or Instagram and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen (the one that says “Profile”).
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Delete Account.”
  3. Type in your name and password (if any) and hit “Delete.”
  4. Your account will be deleted immediately, but you can still access it if you need to.
