If you’re a Gmail user, there’s a good chance you’ve used your username and password to sign in to the site. But if you want to delete them, there’s a few steps you need to take. First, open up your Gmail account and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. This will take you to your settings. On the left side of this screen, you’ll see “Gmail.” Under “Gmail,” select “Accounts.” In this section, select “Users.” In the users section, select “Your name.” Click on the “Delete” button next to your username. Now that your username and password have been deleted from Gmail, it’s time to close out your account. To do so, click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen and select “Close Account.”
