If you’re a PlayStation 3 user and you’ve been using the system for years, it’s likely that some of your data has accumulated over time. This includes user profiles, game saves, and even pictures and videos. If you don’t want to lose all this data or you don’t want to have to worry about it getting lost in the shuffle when your console is upgraded or when you move house, there are a few steps you can take to delete old users on PS3.

  1. Log into your PlayStation 3 account and click on the “Profile” tab.
  2. Scroll down until you find the “User Data” section and click on it.
  3. In the “Data Type” field, select “File.”
  4. Click on the “Delete User Data” button.
  5. Your PlayStation 3 will ask if you want to save any changes made in this process. If so, click on the “Yes” button and then click on the “Finish.”
