If you’re like most people, Instagram is one of your favorite social media platforms. But if you’re a Facebook user, it’s time to delete Instagram from your account. The reason? Instagram is a platform that Facebook doesn’t control and doesn’t share data with. So if you use Instagram to post photos of your dog playing in the park or taking a picture of your cat playing with a toy, those posts are likely to get removed by Facebook. To delete Instagram from Facebook, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Facebook and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen. This will take you to your account settings.
  2. Scroll down and click on the three lines in the bottom right corner of the main screen. This will take you to your account settings again.
  3. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen again and this time, select “delete account.” You’ll be asked for your password and then told to confirm deletion by clicking on “confirm.” Once you’ve deleted Instagram from Facebook, it won’t appear in any of your accounts’ menus or notifications.
