If you’re a Gmail user, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the Delete Google Mail command. It’s one of the most common ways to remove messages from your account. But what if you don’t want to delete all of your messages, but just some? What if you only want to delete a few? In that case, there are three ways to delete Google Mail messages: by subject, by body, or by both. Here’s how:

  1. Subject: Deleting Google Mail Messages To delete a message with the subject “Deleting Google Mail Messages,” type the following into your email client: “Deleting GoogleMailMessages” in the subject line. This will send all of the messages in your account to be deleted.
  2. Body: Deleting Google Mail Messages with Body Text To delete a message with the body text “Deleting GoogleMailMessages,” type the following into your email client: “DeletingGoogleMailMessages(body)”. This will send all of the messages in your account to be deleted without having to include the body text.
