If you’ve ever had the urge to delete an extra Gmail account, now is the time. Google has announced that it’s retiring its old “Gmail for Business” service, which allowed users to create extra email addresses for work purposes. Starting in March 2019, all new Gmail accounts will be created using the company’s standard “Gmail” service. If you need to delete an extra account before then, here’s how:
- Open your Google account settings.
- Under “Accounts and services,” click on the “Add account” button.
- Enter your email address and password (if you have them) and click on the “Create account” button.
- Under “Your accounts,” click on the “Add an extra account” button and enter your desired email address and password (if you have them).
- Click on the “Create account” button to finish setting up your new Gmail account. ..
Open the Gmail app on your phone or computer. Click “Settings” in the top right corner of the screen. Select “Accounts” from the drop-down menu. Select “Delete account. ”Enter your password and tap “Next.
