If you’re like most people, you probably use your iPhone or iPad to access the internet, check email, and make phone calls. But there are a few things you can do to keep your apps from crashing or disappearing on your device - and that’s just the basics. Here are three tips to help you delete apps from your iPhone or iPad:
- Open the App Store on your device and search for the app you want to delete. Once you find it, tap on its name to open its description. Under “Delete,” tap on the “x” in the top right corner of the screen. The app will be deleted immediately - no warning will appear!
- If you’re using an iPad, open Settings and then General > Reset > Reset All Content and Settings . This will erase all of your data - including any apps you’ve installed - as well as any data stored in iCloud. If this is too much for you to handle, try deleting individual apps one by one by tapping on their names in the App Store’s list of applications (or by going into their settings under “General” > “Privacy”).
- Finally, if all else fails: try calling Apple support at 1-800-MY-APP (1-800-829-5227).
