If you’re a Fortnite player on a Switch, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the “delete account” function. This is a handy way to get rid of an account if you want to move it to another platform or if you want to change your name. To delete an account on a Switch, open the Nintendo Switch Online app and sign in. Then, under “Accounts,” click on the “Delete Account” button. You’ll be asked for your email address and password, and then you’ll be able to confirm your deletion. Once your account is deleted, it won’t appear in any of your games or applications. If you ever need to re-activate it, just go back into the Nintendo Switch Online app and sign in again.
