If you have a Hangouts account and want to delete a contact, here are some tips:

  1. Log in to your account and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. This will take you to your settings.
  2. Scroll down and click on the “Deleting contacts” option.
  3. Enter the contact’s name and password and hit “delete.” Your contact will be deleted from Hangouts and all of their messages will be gone as well.
