If you’ve ever wanted to deactivate your PlayStation 4 from your phone, now is the time! Sony has made this process a lot easier than it used to be. To deactivate your PS4, all you need is your PS4’s unique ID number and your phone’s IMEI number. Here’s how to find both:

  1. On your PS4, go to Settings and select System.
  2. Under “System Information,” you will see the “ID Number” and “IMEI Number.”
  3. Copy both of these numbers and head over to your phone.
  4. Open up the Settings app on your phone and scroll down until you see “Phone Numbers.”
  5. Tap on the number for the PS4 that you want to deactivate and copy its ID number (it will be in the “Number” field).
  6. Paste this ID number into the “ID Number” field on Sony’s website (listed below) and hit enter.
  7. You will now be taken to a confirmation page where you can confirm that you want to deactivate your PS4. Click on the blue button that says “Yes, I want to deactivate my PlayStation 4.” ..
