If you’re a Potterhead and want to get your hands on some of the exclusive content that Pottermore has to offer, you’ll need an account. Here’s how to create one. First, head over to the website and sign in with your existing account or create a new one. Once you’re logged in, click on the “My Account” tab at the top of the screen. From here, you’ll need to decide what type of account you want: personal or school. If you’re just looking to explore the site without signing up for any classes or buying any items, then a personal account is all you need. If, however, you plan on using Pottermore for class assignments or purchasing items, then a school account is necessary. To create a school account, click on “Create New School Account” and fill out the required information. You’ll need your name (first and last), email address, and password (which must be at least 8 characters long). Make sure that your email address is correct because this will be used to send important notifications about your account status (such as when new content is released). Click “Create School Account” when finished. Now that you have an account setup, it’s time to start exploring! To start browsing the site without signing in, click on “Browse Site” under the My Account menu item.
