If you’re like most people, you probably use Outlook to manage your email and calendar. But there are a few things you can do to make your email experience more efficient and user-friendly. First, set up a primary email account in Outlook. This is the account that you use to send all your emails and keep track of your calendar events. You can create this account using the Accounts tab in the main Outlook window or by using the menu options at the bottom of every email window. Second, set up an alias for your primary email account. This is an alias that will be used when you type “primary” into a search engine or when you want to refer to your primary email address in conversation. For example, if you have an alias called “joe,” then all emails sent from this address will be sent as “joe@domain.” Third, make sure that your inbox is organized according to subject lines. In most cases, it’s best not to have too many different types of messages in one inbox (or even one category), so try to group them by subject line or by sender name. This will help you find and reply quickly to messages with the right information in them. Finally, make sure that your mailbox is clean and empty before sending any new emails or opening any old ones. This will help prevent bounces and other problems down the road.

Open Outlook. Click on File in the top left corner of the screen. Select Account Settings from the drop-down menu that appears. Select E-mail Accounts at the top of the window that appears, then click on Change Primary E-mail Address in the bottom right corner of the window.
