If you’re a eBay user, you may be wondering how to change your PayPal account on the site. If you don’t have a PayPal account, or if your PayPal account is currently inactive, we recommend that you create one. To change your PayPal account on eBay:

  1. Log in to eBay.com.
  2. Click on the “Accounts” tab at the top of the page.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Change my account.”
  4. Enter your new name and password for your new PayPal account. If you already had a PayPal account, please enter it into this field as well. You may also need to provide some other information such as your mailing address and phone number so that we can contact you about changes to your account or for more information about using your new PayPal account.
  5. Click on “Create my new PayPal Account.”
