  1. Open the Dell laptop’s lid and press the power button to turn it on.
  2. Type “msconfig” into the computer’s search bar and hit enter.
  3. In msconfig, click on the “Accounts” tab and then click on the “Microsoft Account” button.
  4. In the new window that pops up, type in your new Microsoft account information and hit enter.
