If you’re having trouble logging in to your laptop, or if you want to change the administrator password, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Start menu and type “administrator” into the search bar.
  2. When the Administrator window appears, click on it.
  3. In the Administrator window, click on “User Accounts.”
  4. In the User Accounts window, click on “Administrator.”
  5. In the Administrator window, under “Password,” type in your new password and then press Enter.
  6. Under “Logon Options,” select “Change Password.”
  7. Type in your current password and then press Enter.
  8. Click on “OK.” ..
