If you’re a YouTube Music subscriber, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the company’s new cancellation policy. Starting today, YouTube will start cancelling accounts for subscribers who don’t have paid monthly fees. If you’re an existing subscriber and haven’t paid your monthly fee yet, your account will be cancelled automatically. YouTube says this move is to “streamline the process” and make it easier for people to cancel their subscriptions. But it’s not clear how this will affect those who already have paid their monthly fees - if they’re still able to use their account, or if their account is cancelled without warning. If you’re an existing subscriber and haven’t paid your monthly fee yet, your account will be cancelled automatically. If you’re an existing subscriber and have paid your monthly fee, but haven’t received a notice about the new cancellation policy, please email support@youtube.com with as much information as possible about your subscription and payment method so we can help you understand what’s happening."
