If you’re like most people, you probably use iTunes to buy and download music, movies, and TV shows. But there are a few things you can do to cancel your account or stop using it:
- Click the “cancel” button on the main screen of iTunes. This will take you to a confirmation page that asks for your name and email address. If you don’t have an email address, you’ll need to provide your name and phone number so that we can contact you if there are any problems with your account.
- Click the “cancel” button on the account settings page in iTunes. This will take you to a page where you can choose whether or not to keep your account active. If you decide not to keep your account active, Apple will close it automatically at some point in the future.
- If all else fails, try calling Apple customer service at 1-800- apple-support (or 1-800-222-1234 for international customers). They may be able to help cancel your account or help resolve any issues with it.
