If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to post pictures of your day-to-day life. But if you’re like me, sometimes you need to backdate posts to make sure they’re from a certain time period. To do this, you’ll need to use the “backdate” feature on Instagram. This will take the current timestamp of your post and subtract 10 minutes. So for example, if I had a post from yesterday that was at 3:30 PM, my backdate would be at 2:30 PM. But there’s one catch: If the timestamp is older than 10 minutes, then it won’t work. So if you want to backdate a post that’s been published in the past few hours, you’ll have to wait until it’s newer than 10 minutes or use another app like iCloud or Google Photos.
