Yahoo has announced that it is retiring its email service, Yahoo Mail. The company says that users can delete their emails from the service in one go, starting on July 17. The move comes as Yahoo faces increasing competition from rivals such as Gmail and Outlook.com. In a statement, Yahoo said that it wanted to focus on its “core products and services.” Users will be able to delete their emails from the main Yahoo Mail interface, as well as from the Yahoo Mail app for Android and iOS devices. They will not be able to delete their emails from the Yahoo Mail web interface or through the mail servers used by other companies. Yahoo says that it will continue to provide support for email accounts until July 17th, but after that date users will need to migrate their data to another service or use a backup strategy. ..
